First used in the Vietnam War by the American Green Berets, Boonie hats are commonly used in military forces today. These sun hats have a similar design to bucket hats but with a stiffer brim.

Rothco's Classic Military Style Boonie Hats are fashionable, functional and made to government specifications. These Boonie Hats feature 4 screened side vents, loops woven into the sides for leaves and branches and an adjustable chin strap and are made from a polyester/cotton material.
