The made in Canada Esker Classic 10x10 Hot Tent features a spacious yet classic four-sided pyramid and heavy-duty Army Duck 4-strand Sunforger Canvas for supreme durability. Its one-pole design makes the Classic lightweight and easy to transport and set up, ensuring you are not in the elements for too long.
Easy Set-up
The Esker Classic only requires a single central pole (sold seperately, or use a tree branch) which means set up is as easy as staking out the corners, setting up the central pole, tieing the guylines, shoveling onto the snow skirt. This easy set up means less time setting up a frustrating and finger freezing pole system, and more time to get your stove going.
Spacious and Comfort
The Classic has a center peak of 2.3m (7'6"), and a sidewall height of .76m (30") allowing most cots to fit nicely against the tent walls. There is room for three to four people to sleep while using a stove, and four to six if without a stove. Some comfort features include a stove pipe ring, an air vent to reduce condensation, sewn loops for drying, and a 2 way zippered opening for easy in and out.
Recommended Gear
We recommend the Esker Ontario stove found here. If there are no suitable trees or the collection of wood is not allowed, a central pole found here, and a central pole base found here are great accessories to get you up and running. Guylines are included.
Use in Shoulder Seasons
If you are planning to use the Classic Tent in the Spring or Fall we would recommend using a secondary tarp overtop the tent to help protect the canvas against rain ensuring a long tent lifetime.
