The long-awaited KA-BAR Becker BK62 Kephart is here. Designed true to the original knife created by Horace Kephart, considered the father of modern day bushcraft, the BK62 is made in the USA with 1095 Cro-Van steel and walnut handles.
The handle on the BK62 Becker Kephart is made from Walnut. Walnut is a harwood known for its high strength, and great looks.
The Fixed Blade on the BK62 Becker Kephart by Becker Knife & Tool of KA-BAR® is made from 1095 CRO-VAN Steel and features a Flat grind. 1095 CRO-VAN steel is an easy to sharpen, plain carbon steel used in knife making. Proven to be one of the most popular steels used in KA-BAR Knives. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 56-58, this Drop Point shaped blade is 5.125 inches long of its full tang.
Field sharpening the BK62 Becker Kephart is easy with its sharpened edge.
Included with the BK62 is an open top brown leather sheath.
