Love backpacking, but hate carrying around a fishing rod? Instead of strapping your KA-BAR to a branch and attempting to spear fish just bring the Backpack Kaster.

The Backpack Kaster is made in the US and is a lightweight fishing system designed to tag along on all your outdoor adventures is made from Ultramid® and weighs 0.25 lb.

It is comprised of three main components. The handle is inspired by the iconic KA-BAR USMC Fighting/Utility Knife and has a hollow storage compartment for extra line and lures. The head of the Kaster is where your fishing line attaches, and a plastic clamp-like device is included to secure your line in place when not in use. Fishing line and lure not included. The KA-BAR® Backpack Kaster holds the following fishing line: 8lbs = 100 yds @.011" dia. 10lbs = 90 yds @.012" dia.
