OKC Bayonets

The genuine US Army issue 490 M9 bayonet by Ontario Knife Company features a 7 inch, black oxide non-reflective finish, 420 modified stainless steel blade, with milled saw teeth on the back. The overall length of the M9 is 12 1/4 inches. The green handle on the M9 is made from textured thermoplastic nylon. The M9 features a scabbard that is also made from green thermoplastic nylon that contains additional features. For example the scabbard features a flat screwdriver on the end. By using the equipped quick release military holster which quickly releases the scabbard from your belt, the Bayonet and Scabbard connect together to form a wire-cutter. The M9 is designed to fit the M-16, M4 or C-7 Rifle and is made in the US.

420 Modified Stainless Steel

The Fixed Blade on the 490 M9 Bayonet & Scabbard - Olive Drab by Ontario Knife Company is made from 420 Modified Stainless Steel and features a Flat grind. 420 Modified Stainless Steel is wear resistant and strong. With a Rockwell hardness rating of 53-57, this Clip Point shaped blade is 7 inches long and is stamped with M9 Ontario Knife Company USA.

Green Thermoplastic Nylon Sheath

Included with the 490 M9 Bayonet & Scabbard - Olive Drab by Ontario Knife Company is a Green Thermoplastic Nylon sheath with NA stamped on it. This sheath fits the above knife. Additional Features of this sheath include: Bianchi Clip, quick relase to combing sheath with bayonet to be used as wire cutters. This Green Thermoplastic Nylon sheath is made in USA.

Worth every penny!

I was a little skeptical about getting this but it arrived today ( May / 11 / 2020 ) and it far exceeded my expectations. Extra thick blade and overall good weight. It definitely feels like it could take a beating and still keep on working. Very well constructed and I can't see see how anyone would be disappointed with buying this knife!
